Steve Hershfield
After graduating from Carnegie Institute of Technology, CMU, Steve began his industry experience as a Process Engineer for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co., PPG. After gaining experience in Project Management, Steve joined the Columbian Division of Cities Service Corporation as a Technical Engineer. Several promotions ensued with Steve ultimately becoming National Account Manager for all Industrial Products. When the decision was made to shut down Columbian's dispersion operation, Steve saw the opportunity to start his own company making carbon black concentrates for the plastics, coatings and printing ink industries. Acquisitions followed along with the formation of a Joint Venture with a 150 year old British Company, H. Haeffner & Co. Ltd. In 2003, Steve made the decision to return to his beloved New England and dedicate himself to mentoring and consulting for individuals and companies in entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and marketing.
